Subject:     NOTICE  OF  ARRIVAL  REQUIREMENTS  FOR  YACHTS  OVER  300 GROSS TONS

Please be advised that the United States Coast Guard (USCG) has issued a Marine Safety Information
Bulletin, MSIB Number 01-14 (attached), reminding owners, operators, and Masters of foreign
recreational yachts over 300 Gross Tons (GT) of the requirement to file a notice of arrival (NOA)
with the USCG National Vessel Movement Center (NVMC) prior to arrival in the US.  The NOA
requirement applies even to those foreign yachts with cruising licenses issued by
the US Customs and Border Protection (CBP).
